We live in a world where convenience is key, eating whatever is easiest or available. The simple truth is, what people eat can be either medicine or poison. Nutrition is one of the strongest tools we can use to reverse the effects of chronic illness.
In this Elimination Program, we take 90 days to practice mindful eating, listening to our bodies, learning, and eliminating trigger foods to help us live our best lives.
The program includes two one-on-one consultations with clinical nutritionist Kim Murphy determining your unique parameters. The first consultation is conducted before the program begins which includes examining your full medical history and current issues, and the second is at the conclusion of the program to determine your personalised roadmap for optimum wellness. It’s so important that the program is tailored to your specific needs and goals, as your nutritional plan should be as unique as you are.

In this program, we look at how individual foods make you feel. Some of us are lucky enough to already be aware of certain foods that don’t agree with us. Whether aware or not, foods can have a great impact on how you feel. Food intolerances, great or slight, are commonly found to trigger or contribute to the inflammation symptoms above, and in this program, we fine-tune that understanding. The information you will learn from this program is the information you need to create a long-lasting and sustainable food-as-medicine plan for your life.
What is the 90 Day Elimination Program?
The Wellness Solutions 90 Day Elimination Program is a process of removing specific foods that are most likely to cause inflammation. After 7 days of eliminating one inflammatory food group per day, we live without these foods for 8 weeks and focus instead on eating the highest quality anti-inflammatory whole foods, which have been laid out for you in carefully structured meal plans and delicious recipes.
What 7 Food Groups will be eliminated?
1. Grains
2. Dairy Products
3. Added Sweeteners and refined sugars
4. Inflammatory Oils
5. Legumes
6. Nuts and Seeds
7. Nightshades
Coffee and Alcohol are also eliminated but are not listed above as they are not foods. We do allow one cup of organic coffee a day, and up to 2 cups of green tea a day to calm the caffeine detoxification as this for many people is a deal-breaker. Green tea has so many nutritional benefits it far outweighs the small amount of caffeine for those who have can tolerate caffeine. Alternatively, we encourage sipping nutritious herbal teas.
During the first week of elimination, we will discuss kitchen staples, bone broths, fermented foods, and supplements that will be useful to you during the program. After eight weeks, we will reintroduce the foods that have been eliminated, one by one, to test for reactivity and symptom recurrence. This step indicates exactly which foods don’t work for you, and which foods actually make you feel your best. Our clients have reported a decrease in muscular and joint pain, weight loss, increased energy, better digestion, deeper sleep, clearer skin, and countless other health improvements after completing the program, and many continue on with the meal plans, adopting them as a way of life.

Throughout the program, you will be linked to your fellow elimination program participants in a supportive online community. Kim will use this medium for regular updates including; scientific data, answers to FAQ, and general support with quality information about supplementation, sourcing of products, recipes, and cooking techniques, and other elements of well-being vital to overall wellness. This community is a powerful tool to support your success.
